Job Description:
1. Conducts registration for the GED examinations.
2. Coordinates logistics for the test; ensures that the facility area is scheduled and tables, signs, video equipment, etc. is prepared as needed; assesses and adjusts lighting, temperature and seating arrangements prior to applicants arrival.
3. Assists in processing exam materials and test scores. Assists supervisor in directing the work to ensure prompt processing, effective and efficient operations and courteous customer service.
4. Provides accurate, consistent, high quality, customer services to clients and the general public.
Position reports to the Chief Examiner or Examiner.
Skills Required: One year experience in performing complex clerical or administrative work in support of a program function. Demonstrate competencies in effectively and accurately gathering, organizing and compiling information, receiving and responding to verbal communications in an appropriate manner and to provide stellar customer service. Computer skills a must.
Work schedule: 29 hours a week, day hours with the possibility of some evening hours as needed.
Hourly wage: $8.00
